Green to Clean
Depending on the severity of your green pool, there are several options in which to get your pool blue again.  If your pool is a light green we may be able to do what we call a “chlorine bomb”, this is a chlorine treatment.  Another option would be to drain the pool and do a chlorine bath on the pool interior.  Our plan of attack has several variables depending on but not limited to your pool pump, filter, cleaning system age of water, etc.

Chlorine Bath
This is generally performed as a result of a green pool.  It consists of washing your pools interior with a mix of liquid chlorine and water; this will kill any living algae attached to your pools interior surface.  We often perform an acid wash after a chlorine bath.

Acid Wash
We Acid wash pools to brighten interior surfaces and remove stains.  Acid washing is generally done when the pool is empty; however we sometimes do under water acid washes if we are focusing on one or a few small stains throughout your pool.

Tile Clean or Glass Bead
Glass beading is the most effective way to remove a calcium line at the water level.  Here in Arizona we have very high calcium levels in our tap water; it is inevitable that if you have a pool here that at some point you will need to have your calcium line removed.  We use glass beads on tile, Pebble Tec, natural stone, and other surfaces.

Filter Cleaning
This must be done to every cartridge and DE filter periodically.  Cartridge filters do not backwash so they need cleaned to remove the collected contaminants from the pool.  DE filters are generally to be backwashed every 4-6 weeks but manufactures guidelines recommend taking the filter apart and manually clean and inspect the filter components every 6-12 months.

Drain and Fill
This is done to simply replace old water or high chemical levels in your pool.  A lot of our customers are surprised of the nice look of the fresh water once filled.

Dedicated Suction Lines
Are often not installed in older pools.  This means that you would need to plug your automatic vacuum into your pool skimmer port.  We can install a dedicated suction line to your pool so your skimmer can effectively do its job which is to pull leaves and debris off the surface of your pool, while your automatic vacuum can clean the bottom of your pool.

Salt Water Conversion
Many people think that you must choose to install a salt water system when you build your pool.  This is not the case; we can convert your pool to salt water in a matter of hours.  Benefits of a salt water pool are less eye irritation after swimming, softer skin after swimming, and lower chemical costs year round.
